This story is amazing! Kent Couch from Bend, OR flew 193 miles in a lawn chair! Using 105 large helium balloons and plastic bags of water as ballasts, Couch floated 25 mph in the clear blue sky while his wife and dog followed him on the road below. He flew for nine hours before he landed in a farmer's field near Union, OR just short of Idaho.
Unfortunately upon landing, the wind caught his rig just as he hopped off, and it sailed off without him. It had all his gear on including a video camera recording the amazing trip.
