Walk to Remember in Weston, MO

Help raise money for the Battlefield Cross Memorial for fallen soldiers. Join in the Walk to Remember this Saturday, March 29 in Weston, MO.

Registration is from 8a-10am. Entry is just $25 and includes a commemorative Walk to Remember t-shirt.

You can join in the pre-walk ride to Weston. Just hop on your motorcycle and meet at the Children's Fountain in North Kansas City for the ride to Weston. The Walk to Remember starts at 10am.

Who says PETA isn't sexy?

Meet Salt Lake City resident Shona Barnthouse. She's been crowned PETA's North America's Sexiest Vegetarian in the "Girl Next Door" category.

She joins such company as Pamela Anderson and Alicia Silverstone as campaigners for animals.

For her prize, Barnthouse has won a week's vacation in Maui. Nice.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Look for 101 the Fox in the Kansas City St. Patrick's Day Parade. We're entry #21 in the parade. Just look for Foxzilla and Doug Medlock's band The Snotrockets rocking out on the float. Click on the shamrock for all the parade details.
And later today celebrate St. Patrick's Day with 101 the Fox and Skid Roadie at Ugly Joe's at 103rd St. & State Line Rd, KCMO. Party in the parking lot with live music and drink specials from 2p-6p with 101 the Fox.

From KMBC.com... A Woman's Burned Body Found Near Boat Ramp.

Police are investigating a homicide after a woman's burned body was found on city-owned property at 83rd Street and Gardner Road Wednesday morning.

Police described the woman as being between the ages of 16 and 30, about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. Police said the woman was wearing a silver ring on her right hand. Her identity is not yet known. An autopsy will be performed. Anyone with information in the case can call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hot line at 816-474-TIPS.

 

122 ft. tall snow woman!

Bethel, Maine is home to the world's tallest snow woman. Olympia stands an amazing 122 ft. tall!

Her eyelashes are made of snow skis. Her bright red lips are made from painted car tires.

She's wearing a giant red hat, and a 100 ft. long scarf. Her arms are made from 27 ft. tall evergreens, and she is about 30 ft. shorter that the Statue of Liberty (minus the base, of course).
